Not the best time of year to go to Victoria, but I was in Seattle and it worked out that way. Really like the town and how it felt like a smaller distant version of England. A long gone era.
The Royal Museum was great, really worth the visit. Also was really impressed how they had many exhibits on native americans (or aborigines as the Canadians call them). In Seattle, there’s nothing. Really sad how they named the state after someone who never knew the place existed.
Took the ferry from Seattle to Victoria in BC. Was really amazed how much space, land, nature and vastness there is in America. I’ve driven though Nevada and had the same feeling. Really makes you feel small when you try to comprehend the space.
Took the bus out a little further to this park. Really worth going out here. It was easy to get to and the park is quite big. The size of Seattle. Just managed to hike a third of the park and was out all day.
